FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024 has taken the excitement levels to a new high, as we have seen two upsets in two days.

After Venezuela eliminating Spain last night, Kazakhstan have now knockout the defending champions Portugal with last-minute brilliance from Dauren Tursagulov.

The match was about to enter the extra-time periods when Kazakhstan launched their final attack from the left flank and long before anyone knew it, Tursagulov had sent the ball in. There were amazing scenes at the arena and the Kazakhs were jubilant.

Before the match-winning goal, Chingiz Yessenamanov and Zicky Te had scored 1 goal each for their respective sides.

With this victory, Kazakhstan have qualified for the quarter-final of the event and will play the winner of Argentina vs Croatia match.
