Morocco vs Panama Highlights Futsal World Cup 2024
Morocco went in as the favorites to win this game and came out victorious as expected. Panama did put up a courageous fight, but it wasn’t enough to outscore Morocco who won the game 6-3 in the end. With this victory, Morocco have booked their spot in the last 16 of the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024.
To start off the proceedings, Sofiane El Mesrar scored Morocco’s first goal as a result of a sublime team effort. And, soon Soufiane Charraoui doubled the advantage to get the Atlas Lions cruising right from the beginning.
Panama showed great resilience and kept scoring to reduce the deficit, but in the end, it was Morocco who got over the line thanks to a double brace from El Mesrar and Rais El Fenni in the second half.
Morocco will play their last group game against Portugal to decide which team finishes on top of Group D. Panama will play Tajikistan in Bukhara and hope to still qualify for the Round of 16.
