New Zealand Squad Futsal World Cup 2024
New Zealand will be one of the four debutants at the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024. They won the OFC Futsal Nations Cup 2023 to earn themselves a spot in their maiden Futsal World Cup. The best part is that they remained unbeaten throughout the qualifying tournament and will have their morale sky-high as they begin their World Cup campaign in Uzbekistan. The New Zealand Squad Futsal World Cup 2024 will be pretty much the same that helped them reach the World Cup, and they’ll be expected to put up a decent fight against big teams in the mega event.
New Zealand Squad Futsal World Cup 2024
The current New Zealand squad has many match-winners, and they’ll want them to play their best game to reach the knockouts, at least. They’ll rely on Dylan Manickum (Golden Ball winner at the OFC Futsal Nations Cup 2023) and Stephen Ashby-Peckham (their top-scorer at the qualifiers with 5 goals).
Rahan Ali, Jordan Ditfort, and Casey Sharplin will also be in the spotlight for New Zealand at the mega event. They all scored 4 goals each in the qualifying tournament and can play a vital part in the success of ‘Futsal Whites’ at Uzbekistan 2024. Other notable players include Hamish Grey, Patrick Steele, and Ethan Martin.
