Iran vs France Highlights Futsal World Cup 2024
Team Melli dominated the World Cup debutants in their last group game at the FIFA Futsal World Cup on Sunday.
While the two teams played toe-to-toe in the first half, IR Iran got the advantage in the fifth minute of the second half when Salar Aghapour casually strolled passed the opposition defenders and put one in.
After the initial goal, Iran started controlling the game and scored two more goals in the next five minutes. Aghapour struck again with three minutes of play remaining after stealing the ball from the French players when they were employing flying goalkeeper. France scored a consolation goal only a few seconds later.
Iran will face Morocco in what is perceived to be a thrilling Round of 16 encounter. France will be up against Thailand in their first knockout game
