Morocco vs Brazil Highlights Futsal World Cup 2024
Morocco put up a good fight today, but it was not good enough to down the tournament’s best team so far. Despite not playing at their full strength due to injuries in the squad, Morocco looked competitive and lost the game 3-1 against 5-time World Champions Brazil.
Marcel was the first to score in the 12th minute of the game when his deflected volley went in and put Brazil into the lead. Six minutes later, Leandro Lino rushed into the position of a pivot and swiveled to make a stylish strike that went in off the goalpost. Nine minutes into the second half, Dyego stamped victory for Brazil with his spectacular trademark trick, ‘La Dyeguinha’, and scored after beating his man.
Brazil’s next stop will be Tashkent, where they will play the semi-final on Wednesday against the winner of the Ukraine vs Venezuela match. Mercurial Morocco’s World Cup campaign ends here after a wonderful show despite losing two main players before the event and three more during the World Cup due to injuries.
