New Zealand vs Libya Highlights Futsal World Cup 2024
New Zealand looked sharp at the start, and the slippery Dylan Manickum made a few dangerous moves. However, his efforts didn’t pay off and Libya capitalized on the opponent’s mistake to break the deadlock in 7th minute of the match. It was Khamis to open the scoring for Libya with a deft touch on Zreeg’s pass.
In the second-half, Zreeg doubled Libya’s advantage and Abuksheam scored the last goal for them in the 40th minute of the match when the opponent’s goalkeeper wasn’t there to guard his post. With this goal, Abuksheam has become the first goalie in the tournament to score a goal.
Ditford scored a consolation goal for the Futsal Whites in the last minute of the match when they were trailing 3-0. It was a sublime volley to say the least – something to cheer for the New Zealand fans.
New Zealand will play their next match against Spain and Libya will face Kazakhstan on Wednesday at the Andijan Universal Sports Complex.
