Spain vs Venezuela Highlights Futsal World Cup 2024
Venezuela have etched history in Uzbekistan, as they outscored Spain to eliminate them from the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup. In a must-win game in Andijan, Venezuela edged Spain 2-1 to reach their first-ever Quarter-Final in the history of the tournament.
The South Americans got an early lead courtesy of a spectacular strike from Jose Villalobos. Raul Gomez equalized for Spain in the 4th minute of the second half and gave hope to the Spanish fans.
While the match was about to finish 1-1 in full time, Venezuela came up with a last-gasp winner, as Victor Carreno scored the historic goal for them in the dying moments of the game.
Venezuela will travel to Tashkent now to play the Quarter-Final against Ukraine. The match is scheduled on Sunday, 29th of September, 2024.
