Croatia played their first World Cup in 2000 and have qualified for the mega event for the first time since then. They won the Elite Round Play-Offs at the UEFA Futsal World Cup Qualifiers to secure their World Cup berth. Their players showcased top skills and determination in the qualifying round and won the play-offs against Poland in a close affair to make it through. The Croatia Squad Futsal World Cup 2024 doesn’t have many changes from their previous outing at the UEFA World Cup Qualifiers. They’d surely want to make their efforts count at the big stage, having qualified for the mega event after two long decades.

Croatia would like to make full use of the experience and scoring abilities of their captain Franco Jelovcic. He is their second-highest goal scorer in the current squad, with 56 goals in 94 appearances. They’ll also rely heavily on their top goal scorer Dario Marinovic who has scored 68 goals in 89 outings for Croatia. Luka Peric, who scored 10 goals in the qualifiers and was Croatia’s top scorer in the event, will also be in the spotlight at the mega event.
Other notable names in the Croatia Squad include Žarko Luketin, Tihomir Novak (the most experienced player in the current squad), Antonio Sekulić, and Vedran Matošević.
