Kazakhstan dominated the Albiceleste in their encounter on Sunday, taking a 3-0 lead in the first half. Argentina did play a lot better in the second half, but they could not get past the initial lead established by the Kazakhs. The Kazakhstan team defended well to avoid even a draw in that game and made sure they ended up on the winning side.

Tursagulov Dauren, Daribay Akzhol, and Arnold Knaub were the goal scorers for Kazakhstan. Dauren opened the scoring with a powerful strike from the left flank in the 7th minute of the game, leaving no chance for the goalkeeper to stop it.  Akzhol doubled the advantage in the 10th minute, while Knaub helped Kazakhstan take a decisive lead in the game by scoring in the 16th minute of the game from the double penalty point.

Cristian Borruto struck twice for Argentina in the 11th minute of the second half to bring the lead down. But beyond that, there was no hope for Argentina in that game. Despite their consistent efforts and a strategy shift to bring on Lucas Bolo Alemany to play as the goalkeeper-player, they could not get any more goals in the game. They were also a bit unlucky, as Lucas’ free kick hit the goalpost.
