Brazil vs Ukraine Highlights Futsal World Cup 2024
Ukraine were leading 1-0 at half time, but Brazil aced the second half to storm into the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup final. Dyego was the star for Brazil, as he scored two goals and assisted the third to script Brazil’s brilliant comeback and victory.
Brazil were unlucky on multiple occasions early on, with Arthur’s bullets hitting the crossbar and Leandro Lino’s goal being disallowed. Ihor Cherniavskyi scored the first goal of the game to put Ukraine in the lead with only two minutes remaining in the first half.
Dyego had other plans for the second half, as he scripted a brilliant comeback for Brazil. First, his powerful strike from the left flank was deflected into the goal by Ukraine’s Rostyslav Semenchenko. Only two minutes later, Sukhov saved another shot from Dyego only to allow him to send it into the net with a header on the rebound.
Ihor Korsun scored the equalizer in the 29th minute, but only with four minutes remaining in the game, Felipe Valerio earned a set-piece for Brazil. Dyego converted it to help Brazil qualify for the final.
Brazil will now play the final against the winner of Argentina vs France semifinal match. Ukraine will face the losing side in the 3rd place match on Sunday.
