FIFA Unveiled Official Adidas Match Ball for Futsal World Cup 2024

FIFA, in collaboration with Adidas, has presented the official match ball that will be used in the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024 in Uzbekistan, starting September 14.

The anticipation and excitement around the FIFA Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan gets a boost as FIFA revealed the official match ball for the event in collaboration with Adidas.

The design of the Adidas match ball for Futsal World Cup 2024 has been inspired by the event’s motto ‘Masters of Speed’ and the rich cultural heritage of Uzbekistan. It features five attractive interpretations of kalampir peppers – one of the main ingredients of traditional cuisine in Uzbekistan. Each of them has been artistically crafted to showcase a moving player who never stands still – something a futsal pitch is known for.

Another striking element of the Official Emblem of the tournament is the capsicum. It’s been shaped to resemble the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup trophy, with the ball on top designed with five forms of kalampir peppers.

Earlier, FIFA released the official Futsal World Cup 2024 Mascot, which also had the influences of the local culture and reflected the fast-paced nature of the sport.

The official match ball for the Futsal World Cup 2024 will first hit the courts in Bukhara and Tashkent when the tournament gets underway on September 14. The third venue for the tournament is Andijan which will host its first World Cup game on September 21.

Futsal has seen rapid growth in Uzbekistan during the last decade. Uzbekistan have played two Futsal World Cup events so far and reached the knockouts in the 2021 edition. They lost to IR Iran in the Round of 16 in what is believed to be one of the most thrilling encounters in the history of the tournament.

This year’s event will be the 10th edition of the FIFA Futsal World Cup where all four former world champions – Argentina, Brazil, Spain, and Portugal – will join Uzbekistan. The tournament will also feature four tournament debutants, including Afghanistan, Tajikistan, France, and New Zealand. A total of 24 teams will compete for the glory at Uzbekistan 2024 – a historic event being the very first FIFA tournament to be held in Central Asia.

The tournament kicks off next month on September 14 and the Futsal World Cup tickets are already on sale. Book your seats now to witness some of the nail-biting finishes and the world’s best futsal players on show.
