Spain All Set For The World Cup After A Resounding 10 Goal Victory Over The Netherlands
Spain beat the Netherlands 10-0 to close their Futsal World Cup preparations with a dominating victory.
With a massive victory in their last friendly fixture ahead of the mega event, Spain have now set sights on the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup trophy. In their last friendly fixture ahead of the World Cup, the Spanish Futsal team registered a resounding victory over the Netherlands in Tajikistan.
Spain looked comfortable in this game right from the beginning and tested the skills of the opposition. With less than three minutes into the game, Cortés scored a brace for Spain scoring on strange shots in two pretty similar moves. Spain kept attacking and controlled the game while the Netherlands didn’t threaten the opposition much.

A few minutes later, Raúl Campos scored the third goal for Spain off a rebound. Without giving much time to the Netherlands to regroup, Adolfo came up with a beautiful cross shot that went into the goal, making the score 4-0 in favor of Spain.
Before half time, Spain earned a penalty that was converted by Mellado. Boyis then scored off yet another rebound to give 6-0 lead to Spain before the break.
Even after half-time, the Netherlands couldn’t bounce back and the game became completely once-sided. Early in the second half, César scored the 7th goal for Spain, as he deflected Javi Minguez’ shot into the goal.
Despite having a 7 goal lead already, Spain didn’t relax and played with the same intensity, and the goals didn’t stop coming for them. Mellado converted a set piece from a long-range to make it 8-0, and later, a low shot from Raul Gomez earned Spain a 9-goal cushion.
With four minutes remaining, Adolfo completed a brace, scoring his 50th goal for Spain on a low shot. Adolfo’s strike made it 10-0 for Spain, and they registered a massive victory in their last friendly match.
Spain will now leave for Uzbekistan on Sunday and will start their Futsal World Cup campaign against Kazakhstan on September 15.
